Cogeneration: Venturing into New Markets

MGA collaborating with MDEC to promote cogeneration to the digital industry

MGA’s Taskforce on Promoting Cogeneration (TF C) provides a platform exclusively focused on promoting greater utilisation of Cogeneration.

On 7 December 2022 MGA in collaboration with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (organised the “Workshop on Benefits of Cogeneration in Digital Industry held in Cyberjaya. Attended by Data Centre Investors and technical consultants, the workshop introduced Cogeneration solutions to the digital industry especially on how reliability can be increased, how money can be saved and how operations can be greener.

The objectives of the workshop are;

• To bring awareness on Cogeneration for Data Centre Application in Malaysia
• To update the latest findings and development on Cogeneration in Malaysia
• To provide tips and advice on application of cogeneration at Data Centres
