On 22 September 2018, Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) collaborated with Integrated Hydrocarbon Management (IHM), a unit in PETRONAS, to organise the MGA-IHM Putrajaya Bowling Invitational at Alamanda, Putrajaya.

The Putrajaya Bowling Invitational is a 10-pin bowling tournament, offering a networking platform between policy makers and MGA members in a casual environment.

A total of twenty teams competed over 2 games and the tournament was won by the Team MGTC with a combined score of 1133 pts, followed closely by Team ST 1 (1089 pts) and Team MESTECC 2 (1072 pts) who came in second and third placing respectively.

The King of the lanes was Ariff Fahillah from Team MESTECC 2 who scored highest in the Men’s category men with a total of 344 pts whilst Tengku Norina from Team MGA-IHM scored 233 to capture the ladies title.

This was the first time that MGA has used a bowling tournament as networking platform. This event is organised through MGA’s Regulatory & Government Affairs Working Committee (RGA WC)
