- Global LNG supply grew 16 Mt in 2022 but high prices may dampen gas demand in developing markets in 2023
- Following deferrals in 2022 new LNG capacity is expected to be sanctioned in 2023

Key highlights include
- Demand for LNG in SEA increased in 2022 whereas other parts of Asia Pacific were seeing declines
- As pipeline production dwindles, LNG expected to the become backbone of regional gas supply
