On 7 November 2014, the oil and gas fraternity gathered together for the Annual Industry Dinner at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur to celebrate a momentous year for the industry. Organised jointly by the Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) and the Malaysian Oil & Gas Service Council (MOGSC), the dinner with the theme “Glitter and Gold – Together for the Industry” attracted more than 800 guests led by Guest 0f Honour, YBhg Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin, COO and EVP, Downstream of PETRONAS.

The President of MOGSC, Encik Ramlan Malek welcomed the guests with a speech, followed by the launch of the MGA new website by Datuk Wan Zulkiflee and MGA President, Ir Pramod Kumar Karunakaran.

The guests were pleasantly surprised with music provided by the band led by Datuk Rosli Boni who was joined by Datuk Abdullah Karim. Comedian Douglas Lim did not fail to impress and had everyone in stitches with his anecdotes. Singer Nur Farhan, of Akademi Fantasia fame, entertained with some great hits, including a mandarin song, which had some guests up on their feet.

Some guests were lucky to win prizes at the lucky draw but everyone had a good time. Many were seen enjoying themselves at the photo booth or dancing the night away.
