Since its inception in 2009, the National Energy Forum has been an important forum where each year more than 400 participants comprising of policy makers, regulators, industry players, experts and other stakeholders meet and discuss the current issues and future direction of the energy industry of our country.

The theme for this year’s Forum is “Energy Transformation in Malaysia – Towards a sustainable equilibrium”, focusing on the transformative efforts undertaken by the government and the industry in building a resilient, sustainable and secure energy future, balancing the needs of the economy, environment and people. An interesting programme has been put together for this one day event, which will be officiated by the Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water, YB Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili. We have lined up more than 10 industry experts who will be speaking at the Forum.

We are pleased to have Mr Mel Ydreos as our keynote speaker. Mel is currently the Executive Director, Public Affairs and Chairman of Coordination Committee in the International Gas Union.

In addition, we have also confirmed the participation of YBhg. Dato’ Sri Idris Jala, who will be in an exclusive conversation with En. Kamarul Bahrin from Astro Awani.

We cordially invite participation from your organisation. We encourage you to take advantage of the group discount for more than five participants.
