MGA members from Malakoff, Muhibbah Engineering, JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration (Malaysia), Tokyo Gas Co., Shell Malaysia, Shell MDS (Malaysia), Misi Setia Oil & Gas, YTL Power Generation, Diamond Gas Holdings, Maser (M), Into Solutions, Kawasaki Gas Turbine Asia, Gas Float, Transwater Api, Excelver Corp., Cekap Technical Services, WGC 2012 and MGA Secretariat participated in the excursion.

The event was organised to provide an opportunity for members to obtain first-hand knowledge on the overall operations of these gas facilities. The 33 members of MGA were given the overview of the operations of the two gas premises by the appointed representatives, followed by guided tours within the facilities. The participants found the visit very beneficial and educational with much ‘on-the-spot’ learning and sharing.

The 2-day event became more interesting and memorable when the unplanned tours to the Terendak and Gemas Military Camps, and the Melaka Riverside Cruize were added to the itinerary.

The trip was an enjoyable one to everyone.
