MGA Leadership Forum

9 May 2011

The ICLIF Leadership Centre was established by Bank Negara in October 2003 to provide leadership development programmes for Malaysian and global senior executives from financial institutions but has since extended its mandate to all sectors.

Mr Rajeev Peshawaria, CEO & Executive Director of ICLIF and the author of the newly released book entitled “TOO MANY BOSSES, TOO FEW LEADERS” (Simon & Schuster, 2011) shared his talk on his extensive global experience in leadership development and coaching senior management teams in efforts to streamline Business Strategy, Organizational Architecture and Culture.

The other speaker for the day was Mr David Wee, a Director of Research and Curriculum, ICLIF. He has extensive regional and global experience in the talent management space, with a particular passion in development of high potentials, the diagnosis of organizational talent management capabilities and change management. Mr David’s talked about “How can we create a Winning Organisation”.

These are two excellent talks drawn from research findings on how leaders can create meaningful conditions and frameworks for leadership in an organization. Attendees found the session both enlightening and beneficial in helping their own leadership journey to create superior business performance for their organizations.

MGA Leadership Forum was attended by more than 20 participants. Interested parties were able to establish networking contacts with the officials for further deliberation.
