We are pleased to announce that this year it will be called the INDUSTRY GOLF CHALLENGE 2015. This golf challenge is jointly organized by Malaysian Gas Association (MGA), Institute of Materials, Malaysia (IMM), Malaysian Offshore Contractors Association (MOCA) and Malaysian Oil and Gas Engineering Council (MOGEC).

Driven by the recognition that the oil and gas industry is going through some challenging times with fluctuating prices and cautious spendings, our organizations decided to collaborate to organize a joint industry event rather than individual events by our respective organizations.

The objectives are:
1) To reduce the financial burden of member companies in having to support four separate events.
2) To foster better cooperation and to increase networking opportunities among the four organizations within the industry.
3) To organise a bigger and better tournament for the benefit of all.

It will be held on Saturday, 18 April 2015 at the Palm Garden Golf Club, IOI Resort City, Putrajaya. Tee-off : 8.00 a.m.

The joint organizing committee is working hard towards making this event an exciting and memorable one. Attached herewith are the following forms for your further action:
The format and mode of play will be similar to last year’s tournament which is based on System 36 Stableford.

This tournament is open to all MGA members and their guests with a participation fee of RM6,000.00 per flight, which will cover green fees, buggy and caddy, breakfast, lunch, goodies and most importantly prizes for the winners!!

While the tournament creates an opportunity for members to enhance business networking as well as strengthen meaningful relationship within the industry golfing fraternity, the proceeds would be used to organize MGA’s activities, such as Technical Visits and the Prestige Program, for the benefit of the industry.
