MGA’s Regulatory & Government Affairs Working Committee (RGA WC) met Malaysia’s Economic Planning Unit on 17 April 2017.
RGA WC engages policy makers on regular basis to exchange updates and discuss ideas on matters relating to the gas industry in Malaysia.

Amongst MGA’s initiatives shared with EPU were;
1. Promoting greater utilisation of cleaner energy source for power generation.
2. Promoting growth of Co-Generation or CHP
3. Promoting natural gas (including LNG) as fuel for transport
4. Promoting expansion of gas supply network via physical or virtual pipeline

During the meeting, EPU also outlined the areas where MGA can provide support.
